For almost twenty years, our family owned company has been proudly based in the Riverina region of New South Wales – the heart of Australia’s food bowl.
From the very first production of our superior quality Dried Tomatoes in 1990, our business has expanded to also include Dried Capsicums and, most recently, Dried Plums.
Goman Foods was born from the combination of a bumper tomato crop and owner Bruce Gowrie-Smith's entrepreneurial instincts and successful primary producing skills. Bruce saw the opportunity to value-add to our family farming business by drying the tomatoes ourselves and entering the dried foods market. Rather than relying on third party
processors, here at Goman Foods we have invested heavily in our product creation
process, keeping it all on site to ensure total quality control.
With our growing success, Goman Foods now also sources produce from local farmers,
helping to strengthen the local economy and create jobs, whilst maintaining the highest standards of food production - from farm gate to customer.
